Celtic has been rushing to sign the striker before the end of the window, and reports say they may have found an alternative candidate to replace Adam Ida.

Honestly, Celtic’s transfer window has become an unchanging string of events that threaten to shorten the hoops to the area ahead unless they can capture important targets by Monday’s deadline.

With Adam Ida appearing to be ready for a £7 million move to Swansea City, Boys seemed to be making progress in his attempt to turn his attention to Anderlecht striker Caspadlberg and sign the Denmark International.

Johnny Kenny and Yamada remain an impressive Celtic option if Ida manages to seal off the departure, and Daizen Maeda is frequently used centrally by Rogers due to his opportunistic nature.

Nevertheless, it is still unclear whether Mayulu could come into the equation and supporters will be closely watching development over the next few days.
