Everton could receive a major push to sign Jack Grealish on a permanent deal next summer, with reports suggesting the winger could be available for less than £50m.

According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees are becoming increasingly optimistic about signing the England international, but his market value is expected to decline over the course of the season.

Despite being one of the most expensive players in the Premier League just a few years ago, Grealish’s situation has changed significantly and Everton may now be in a position to take advantage of it.

Grealish’s arrival on Merseyside has been nothing short of transformative. The 30-year-old winger joined Everton on loan in the summer and quickly re-established himself at the top level after making limited appearances for Manchester City.

Everton revive Jack Grealish’s career

The former Aston Villa captain looks rejuvenated at Goodison Park after a shaky period at City, where he struggled to feature regularly under Josep Guardiola.

He has appeared in seven games so far this season and has recorded four assists.

His comeback has gone unnoticed. England manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly facing a “selection headache” as Grealish’s form puts him firmly back in national team contention for the 2026 World Cup.

Meanwhile, at Everton, he became a central figure in the team’s attacking line-up, linking up brilliantly with the club’s forwards and adding much-needed creativity in the final third.

His influence extends beyond assists, with Grealish’s ability to draw fouls, stretch defenses and dictate the tempo of games adding a new dimension to Everton’s game under manager David Moyes.

The financial aspect of the deal could also work in Everton’s favor. Grealish is now 30 years old, so his transfer fee is expected to decline over the season and fall below £50m by the time the summer window opens.

This price drop would make a permanent deal much more likely for Everton.

The England international rediscovered his best form at Goodison Park, becoming an integral part of the team’s attacking system and proving he still has a lot to offer at the highest level.

Given how his career started at Everton, he will jump at the chance to join the Toffees permanently next year.
