Wolves attacker John Arias is close to leaving the club this month.

According to a report from Globo Esporte, the player has signed a pre-contractual agreement with Palmeiras and the two clubs are currently preparing the final documents for the transfer.

The 28-year-old Colombian attacker is set to complete his move to the Brazilian club next week for 25 million euros.

John Arias needs a move.

Arias has played 23 Premier League games for Wolves this season, scoring just once. His form has been erratic and it will be interesting to see if he can regain his peak form at the Brazilian club. There is no doubt that he is a quality player and versatile enough to play multiple roles. He can play as a centre-forward or as a wide. If he regains his confidence, he could be a very useful addition to Palmeiras.

Meanwhile, Wolves have also confirmed the departure of Jorgen Strand Larsen.

They are at the bottom of the league table and are fighting for survival. Losing these players will only weaken them further. It will be interesting to see if they can miraculously avoid relegation this season. As it stands, they are favorites to fall.

Meanwhile, the Colombian will aim to get his career back on track with regular soccer in Brazil. He is 28 years old and at the peak of his abilities. He has established himself as a key player for the Brazilian national team and will aim to win some trophies with them in the near future.

Arias does not want to play in the second tier of English football next season, so it makes sense for him to move.
