  • Man United and Liverpool interested in left-back

Fulham defender Anthony Robinson has emerged as a target for the upcoming summer transfer window, with both Liverpool and Manchester United reportedly keeping a close eye on his situation.

According to TEAMtalk, the American international would prefer a move to Liverpool if he were to leave Craven Cottage at the end of the 2025/26 season.

Both clubs are considering the possibility of adding to their left-back position, but their transfer strategy could depend heavily on their ability to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Robinson is thought to be available for a transfer fee in the region of £25m, with the 28-year-old potentially a relatively affordable solution for two clubs looking for an experienced Premier League defender.

Robinson has made incredible progress at Fulham.

Robinson has developed into one of the Premier League’s most reliable left-backs since joining Fulham from Wigan Athletic in 2020.

He is known for his blistering speed, offensive runs, and defensive consistency.

This season, he was once again one of Fulham’s best performers, contributing both defensively and attackingly with solid performances on the left flank.

Robinson’s performances have also enhanced his reputation internationally, and he continues to be an important player for the U.S. Men’s National Team.

Liverpool’s interest is closely linked to the uncertain future of Andy Robertson, who has been a mainstay at Anfield for nearly a decade.

With the Scotland international entering the latter stages of his career and speculation mounting over his future, Liverpool’s reinforcements are looking for a potential successor.

Meanwhile, Man United are also making plans for the future in the same position.

Luke Shaw has been an important player at Old Trafford for many years, but has struggled with injuries in recent seasons.

As a result, United are evaluating options on the left side of defense that can provide both reliability and long-term stability.

Both Liverpool and Man United are monitoring the situation closely, but the Merseyside club could have an early advantage with Robinson reportedly preferring Anfield.
