Enzo Fernandes has been linked with a move from Chelsea, with clubs including Real Madrid showing interest in him.

However, the 25-year-old is an important player for the Blues and they don’t want to lose him. Manager Liam Rosenior has held private talks with the player in recent weeks about his comments and how the team is doing. The player has made it clear that he is committed to Chelsea and recent comments about his future have been taken out of context.

Fernandes recently said he would assess his future after the World Cup, prompting speculation that he could leave Chelsea.

Rosenior told reporters (h/t GOAL): “Yes, I think I had a long discussion with Enzo this morning before training, not just about his comments, but also about his feelings and how we can improve as a team. He’s one of the captains of the club. What I want to say is how happy he is to be at this club, how much he’s happy to be at this club. I mean he made it really clear to me how he wants to win and how passionate he is about our success. And he said that in translation and in translation.”So for me, he’s committed to this group and he’s committed to winning with this football club. ”

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea can keep him at the club beyond this season. He is one of the best players at the club and one of the leaders in the changing room. Losing him will be a blow for them and they can’t afford to let a player like him leave the club if they want to fight for big trophies. They aim to close the gap with elite clubs next season and need to retain their best players.
