2026 Travelers Championship Prizes, Purses: Final Signature Event Payments

The final marquee event of the 2026 season concludes Sunday with 72 of the PGA Tour’s top players making the short trip from Long Island to Connecticut for the Travelers Championship. Travelers, the final highlight event of the season, is players’ last chance before the FedEx Cup Playoffs, with $20 million in prize money up for grabs.

In two years, every event on the PGA Tour’s Championship Series will have prize money that reaches or exceeds that amount, but for now, players should take advantage of this last opportunity in 2026 to reap the big payday.

The winner will take home $3.6 million for their efforts this week at TPC River Highlands. Just like a year ago, when Keegan Bradley electrified the New England crowd with a comeback that heated up the “will he or won’t he?” debate over Ryder Cup playing captaincy. That particular subplot won’t be played out this year, but a number of top players are joining the Travelers in search of a long-awaited return to the winner’s circle – most notably Scottie Scheffler.

Every player in this week’s top 11 will earn at least $500,000, and the top 36 are all guaranteed six-figure salaries.

See the complete breakdown of how the $20 million prize money for the 2026 Travelers Championship will be divided among the 72 players. There are no deductions for the final showpiece event of the season, so everyone is guaranteed to get paid at the end of the week.
