Barcelona have managed to build a really strong team in recent years despite financial constraints, and they will be looking to improve again this summer.

According to Team Talk, the main asset they are considering moving on is Jules Kounde, although they may need to sell before buying someone big.

The France international has been a great player for Barcelona at times, but now it appears they are looking to use him to find a player more suited to Hansi Flick’s style.

The report claims the Spanish side have opened the door to a sale, with a number of Premier League teams interested in the 26-year-old. Chelsea have just signed Marco Palestra, so he will likely be out of the race.

But there are plenty of others considering it, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City being named. A player with Kounde’s technical and physical talent will always attract interest.

A lot will depend on how much Barcelona demand from him, but given Kounde’s importance, we expect it to be a lot.

Leandro Trossard could leave Arsenal this summer after reaching the final 12 months of his contract.
