Ferran Torres is ideal for Liverpool
The Spain international is a versatile attacker who can function anywhere in the front three and could be the ideal utility man for Liverpool. With Hugo Ekitike out for much of next season, Liverpool need more depth in attack. Torres scored 21 goals last season.
Signing Torres might be a smart move. He showed his quality at Barcelona last season and there is no doubt that he has the ability to succeed in the Premier League. He has also played for Manchester City in the past.
Meanwhile, his contract with Barcelona expires at the end of next season, so the Spanish champions hope to release him this summer. They don’t want to lose this player for nothing next year. Considering his contract situation, he is likely to be acquired at a reasonable price.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool can win the race to sign him.

Torres is in great shape
Torres scored the winning goal for his country in Sunday’s World Cup final and could be an important player for Liverpool. The Premier League team had a tough season last year, finishing fifth in the league table. They want to bounce back strong and need more depth and quality in their squad.
A player like Torres could help develop the team in the final third without requiring a huge investment. It remains to be seen whether they can convince the World Cup winners to return to the Premier League this summer.
