Fabrizio Romano has reported that Alejandro Garnacho, the winger for Manchester United, has finalized his personal terms with Chelsea.

The acclaimed Italian journalist indicated that the Argentine international is eager to join the Blues.

Romano stated: “Please be aware that Alejandro Garnacho has settled all the terms of his personal agreement with Chelsea!”

“Negotiations on the player’s side have progressed, and he has expressed a desire to join Chelsea, as mentioned since July.”

“Talks with Manchester United regarding the transfer fee will resume soon.

“#CFC As reported, the club is pursuing both Garnacho and Zabi Simons.”

Manchester United’s manager, Ruben Amorim, has indicated this season that he does not intend to keep Garnacho in his squad. Chelsea, fresh off winning the UEFA Conference League and finishing in the Premier League’s top five last season, also emerged victorious in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup under Enzo Maresca.

Fan Take: This news is significant for soccer enthusiasts as it highlights the ongoing rivalry between Manchester United and Chelsea, two of England’s top clubs. The transfer of a promising young talent like Garnacho could reshape team dynamics and intensify competition in the Premier League.
