Liverpool could use Alessandro Bastoni

They need a quality central defender, especially if Ibrahima Konate leaves the club in the summer. Joe Gomez is expected to move as well. Bastoni is one of the best players in the world in his position and could be a great addition. The 26-year-old defender is at the peak of his powers and could make an immediate impact in the Premier League.

The opportunity to join Liverpool could be an exciting one for him. Similarly, Barcelona are one of the biggest clubs in the world and it would be difficult to turn down the opportunity to play for them. Both clubs could offer him a platform to fight for trophies. They could use a quality defender like him, but it remains to be seen what will happen with Bastoni in the end.

Liverpool certainly has more financial resources than Barcelona. They could pay his asking price and offer Bastoni a favorable contract as well.

It will be interesting to see if Barcelona can come up with the funds and sign a deal in the coming months. Apart from his defensive skills, the 26-year-old is excellent on the ball and will help build the team from the back.
