Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing West Ham United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

West Ham are set to be relegated from the Premier League and the 28-year-old is expected to move on. According to a report from TEAMtalk, West Ham are ready to listen to offers as they look to offload several players to make ends meet.

Tottenham and Everton are interested in the full-back. Tottenham could use some defensive depth, but they already have the likes of Pedro Polo and Jed Spence. It doesn’t make much sense to invest in another right-back. They should consider signing a quality central defender and left-back instead.

There is no doubt that the 28-year-old West Ham defender could be a very useful acquisition for most teams in the league, but Tottenham already have a wealth of talent in that area of the pitch.

It will be interesting to see if they decide to make a contract offer for the defender. He will cost around £10 million. For a player of his quality and experience, this is a nominal asking price and could represent a great bargain.

He has shown his quality at clubs such as Crystal Palace and Manchester United and will aim to compete at a high level. Joining a club like Tottenham could be exciting for him. But he must try to get regular game time. Sitting on the bench at the north London club will not do him any favors.

Everton could use more quality talent in the right-back department and the 28-year-old could be the ideal addition for them. It could be the perfect move for the West Ham defender.
