Bayern Munich are interested in signing Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford this summer.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, they are confident they can get a deal done. The 28-year-old has no future at Manchester United and the team are considering selling him.
He was on loan at Barcelona last season, but the Spanish champions had the option to make him permanent for 30 million euros. But they haven’t made the payment yet. Bayern Munich are preparing to offer €25 million for the player.
Rashford wants to decide on his future soon and joining the German champions could be an exciting option for him. He was interested in earning a permanent move to Barcelona, but a move has yet to materialize. Rashford wants to focus on his football and considering a move will be a priority. It remains to be seen whether Bayern Munich can secure an agreement with Manchester United.
Rashford contributed 28 goals last season and is sure to be a great addition for the German champions. However, they already have a well-stocked attacking force, and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to use an international as a starter.
Luis Diaz has been phenomenal on the left flank, with Rashford playing a similar role. It is unlikely that the Colombian international will be dropped to deal with Manchester United’s attacks. The England team will probably not want to sit on the bench of a German club either. It remains to be seen how Bayern Munich will be able to convince the player.
The German champions are an attractive destination for most players and could provide the 28-year-old with a platform to compete for big trophies on a regular basis. But they also have to be able to give him a chance to play regularly in the starting lineup.
