The summer is well underway and teams without a coach will soon start to feel anxious.
Fulham can also be counted among them. Marco Silva left the club at the end of the season, which came as a bit of a surprise to everyone as it was thought they were close to agreeing a new contract with him.

Arbeloa becomes big bet from Fulham after years of stability

The former Liverpool player has just had a terrible spell as caretaker manager at Real Madrid after taking over from Xabi Alonso midway through the season. Before that, he did a good job with Madrid’s youth teams.
It still seems like a big gamble for Fulham to draft a relative rookie. I’m not really sure what Arbeloa did to earn this promotion. Fulham have had a solid season with no worries of relegation, but everything can change quickly in the incredibly competitive Premier League.
