Chelsea recently parted ways with Liam Rosenior and are yet to bring in a permanent replacement.

Porto manager Francesco Farioli is the leading candidate to succeed Chelsea, according to a report from TEAMtalk. The club’s leaders are keen on the Italian manager, and it remains to be seen whether a deal will be reached.

Farioli had an outstanding record with Porto, winning 37 of the 50 games he coached. During that time, he lost just five games.

He is only 37 years old and has a big future ahead of him. He is one of the most talented young managers in the game and his progressive style of football could be a perfect fit for Chelsea. They have quality players at their disposal and the right manager will be able to get the most out of them. It remains to be seen whether Farioli is ready to take charge of a Premier League club. During his time at Ajax, there were rumors of a move to England.

Chelsea have had a mediocre season so far and could miss out on qualification for next season’s Champions League. They need to fill holes in their squad and bring in a quality manager during the summer transfer window. The 37-year-old could be an interesting choice long-term.

But he will need to be given support and time to turn things around. Rosenior did a great job at Strasbourg before moving to Chelsea. However, his stay at the London club lasted only 106 days.
